WORK CONTINUITY
A useful handoff preserves the decision, not just the task.
“Please follow up” can transfer a task while leaving the recipient to reconstruct its purpose.

What a task transfer leaves out
The next person may still need to find the customer objective, the decision already made, the evidence considered and the condition that would count as completion.
Carry a usable checkpoint
A handoff should identify the work, explain the current decision and retain the evidence needed for the next step. It should also make ownership and unresolved questions clear.
That gives the receiving person a basis for taking responsibility.
Respect the receiving scope
The next team or environment may have different permissions. A useful handoff carries the context the recipient is authorized to use, with references that preserve its meaning.
Changing applications or AI hosts should trigger the appropriate access and authority evaluation for that environment.
Keep the outcome visible
A task accepted by another system may still be pending. A completed operation may still leave an account commitment unresolved.
The work history needs enough evidence to distinguish those states and support the next decision.
SpineWorkspace treats continuity as part of the work: preserve the permitted context, the judgment already applied and the next responsibility across supported environments.
