GOVERNED FOLLOW-THROUGH

Know what was authorized—and what happened next.

Runtime governs execution after a next step is proposed. It evaluates authority, enforces required approvals and keeps the operation and observed outcome connected to the decision.

Illustrative view

Evaluate the request

The requested operation needs a defined target, scope and basis for permission. Relevant identity, role, delegated authority and policy determine how it may proceed.

DECISION

Allowed

The operation fits an applicable authorization and policy permits it to proceed.

DECISION

Approval required

A designated person must review and approve before execution.

DECISION

Blocked

The required authority or policy conditions are not satisfied.

Make review meaningful

A reviewer needs to understand the intended operation, affected records, rationale and uncertainty. Approval applies to the reviewed scope; a changed target or material change to the operation needs a fresh authority evaluation.

Execute through the permitted capability

The source or host connection retains its own access controls. Execution also needs to satisfy SpineWorkspace’s authority requirements at the point it is attempted.

Separate request status from outcome

Requested, approved, attempted and verified describe different stages. A provider acknowledging a request may still leave work pending or unresolved.

Runtime tracks the result that can be observed and reconciled. Failures, partial results and uncertainty remain part of the history.

Capabilities, availability and supported systems are confirmed per deployment during evaluation.

Illustrations are indicative. Source systems stay authoritative. Authority stays with people.
